To complete this course, you must register for a special Coaching account on the Coalition For Health Education website if you do not already have an active coaching account. You will find step by step instructions in the first unit of the course and this must be completed to move forward in the course.  This special account has an annual fee of only $20 and that money goes to the nonprofit.  This account can be canceled anytime once you complete the course.

Possible Future Expenses

• If you choose to work as a coach through the Coalition website upon graduation, there will be a one time $195 fee to activate your coaching account so you can invite clients to work under you.  This coaching account, when active, has a $15 monthly fee, which will automatically remove the $20 annual fee for that account in the future. You can decide later, once you graduate the course, if you want to activate your coaching account or not.

• You don't need any tools to learn and complete the course, but in the first module of the course, we list some tools, like pH paper, blood pressure cuffs, glucometers, and even some more advanced tools for testing.  Many of you will want to acquire some of these tools at your local pharmacy or online so you can test your own chemistry and learn more as you go through the course.  Again, these are not required to complete the course, but may be additional expenses if you choose to use them as part of your learning.  
pH paper usually runs about $14, a glucometer can be found for around $40, and a blood pressure cuff averages $45-$50.  We do list some other more advanced tools that vary in price from $40-$300, but you can acquire those once you begin working with clients if you feel they are worth the expense.  They will not be needed to complete the course.
